The FP&A Analyst’s Mission is to play a critical role in driving the financial performance of the company. This individual will be responsible for providing insightful analysis and supporting the FP&A Manager in developing financial models, including budgets and forecasts.

This role will work closely with the FP&A Manager and other departments to deliver timely and accurate financial information, helping the company achieve its financial objectives.

This role requires someone who values accuracy and attention to detail since the Company relies on financial data to make decisions.

This role also requires an excellent communicator since this person will be collaborating with people from all departments.

In addition, this role requires a self-starting, problem solver who takes pride in and ownership of their work. The FP&A Analyst should demonstrate an in-depth understanding of our general ledger, core business and products, key stakeholders, and current processes.

Key Responsibilities :

Financial Reporting and Analysis :

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for senior management.
  • Conduct variance analysis, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Help ensure the accuracy of accounts payable coding and assist when needed.

Budgeting and Forecasting :

  • Support the annual budgeting process, including data collection and consolidation.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of financial forecasts.
  • Monitor budget performance and provide updates to relevant stakeholders.

Financial Modeling :

  • Build and maintain financial models to support various business initiatives.
  • Perform sensitivity analysis and scenario planning to assess potential financial outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to prepare margin analysis over proposed product offerings

Strategic Support :

  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform business strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze relevant data.

Process Improvement :

  • Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve reporting efficiency.
  • Assist in the implementation of new financial tools and systems.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of FP&A practices within the organization.

Requirements : Qualifications :

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 1-2 years of experience in Accounting
  • Exposure to manufacturing, distribution, or direct to consumer businesses, preferred
  • Proficiency in NetSuite, preferred
  • Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Google Sheets experience preferred
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to manipulate large amounts of data
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate within a multi-department environment

Minimum overnight travel (up to 10%) by land and / or air (up to 25% if remote).
