LSSI is hiring a full-time Intact Child Welfare Specialist in Moline,Monday through Friday 9 : 00AM-5 : 00PM.Provides the fullcasework servicesto assurethesafetyandwell-beingofchildren byassisting families tomeetminimum parenting standards.

Essential Functions :

• Complete andsubmit allrequiredreports,documentation, andbillingaccurately andtimelyas required by agency and funding sources.
• Participatein supervisory processforguidance,direction,support,andapprovalofdecision making,assessment,service planning andintervention.

Present cases forstaffingand conduct family-child team meetings.

• Coordinateandcollaborate withother serviceproviders, schools,andhealthcarefacilitiesto promote the child(ren)'s well-being.
• Assessfamilyservice needs.
• Providelinkagetocommunity resources toremediateproblemsandpreventabuseorneglect and verify participation.
• Ensurechildsafetyandwell-beingduringservicedelivery.
• Providestrength-basedcasemanagement to facilitatethe resolutionofminortomoderate challenges contributing to risk to children.
• Advocacywithmedicalorgovernmentalinstitutions.

Position Qualifications :

• Bachelor'sdegreeinsocialworkordegreeinrelatedhumanservicesfieldrequired.
• Previouschildwelfareexperiencestronglydesired.
• Statelicensing / certificationasrequiredby thestateof IllinoisDepartment of Childrenand Family Services.
• Backgroundcheckclearance,bothcriminalandCANTS.
• Basicunderstanding ofWord,Excel,SharePoint, etc.andwillingnesstolearnothersystems used by LSSI.
• Demonstrated abilitytocommunicate inaclear, comprehensiblemanner,bothverbally andin writing.
• Validdriver'slicense,ingoodstandingforthestateofresidencyrequired.
• Accessto reliabletransportation.
• ProofofvalidILstatutoryminimumliabilityinsurancecoverage required.
