LSSI is hiring a full-time Intact Child Welfare Specialist in Moline,Monday through Friday 9 : 00AM-5 : 00PM.Provides the fullcasework servicesto assurethesafetyandwell-beingofchildren byassisting families tomeetminimum parenting standards.

Essential Functions :
- Complete andsubmit allrequiredreports,documentation, andbillingaccurately andtimelyas required by agency and funding sources.
- Participatein supervisory processforguidance,direction,support,andapprovalofdecision making,assessment,service planning andintervention.
Present cases forstaffingand conduct family-child team meetings.
- Coordinateandcollaborate withother serviceproviders, schools,andhealthcarefacilitiesto promote the child(ren)'s well-being.
- Assessfamilyservice needs.
- Providelinkagetocommunity resources toremediateproblemsandpreventabuseorneglect and verify participation.
- Ensurechildsafetyandwell-beingduringservicedelivery.
- Providestrength-basedcasemanagement to facilitatethe resolutionofminortomoderate challenges contributing to risk to children.
- Advocacywithmedicalorgovernmentalinstitutions.
Position Qualifications :
- Bachelor'sdegreeinsocialworkordegreeinrelatedhumanservicesfieldrequired.
- Previouschildwelfareexperiencestronglydesired.
- Statelicensing / certificationasrequiredby thestateof IllinoisDepartment of Childrenand Family Services.
- Backgroundcheckclearance,bothcriminalandCANTS.
- Basicunderstanding ofWord,Excel,SharePoint, etc.andwillingnesstolearnothersystems used by LSSI.
- Demonstrated abilitytocommunicate inaclear, comprehensiblemanner,bothverbally andin writing.
- Validdriver'slicense,ingoodstandingforthestateofresidencyrequired.
- Accessto reliabletransportation.
- ProofofvalidILstatutoryminimumliabilityinsurancecoverage required.
