Role Description :
As a VP, Financial Engineer, you will be instrumental in architecting complex distributed systems, including their high-performance API that manages tens of thousands of requests per second.
You will design and develop data pipelines to support sophisticated neural networks, which index millions of images. Your ability to quickly adapt to new technologies is crucial, as is your passion for creating innovative solutions that shape the long term vision of their financial products.
- Deliver high-quality code with a significant impact on the company's success
- Model complex financial problems and design large-scale distributed systems
- Develop stable and efficient APIs for both internal and client-facing applications
- Collaborate closely with UI / UX teams to ensure seamless integration and user experience
Requirements :
- Expertise in Java & JavaScript
- Extensive experience with large-scale deployments in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Proficiency with Docker
- In-depth knowledge of relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Strong experience in UI / UX design and implementation
- Proven experience in close collaboration with engineering, product, and design teams
- Experience working in fast-paced companies, and a background in financial services or real estate is a plus
The Benefits :
As a VP, Financial Engineer, you will receive a total compensation package of $300,000-$350,000, including base salary and bonus.
