As we navigate our next phase, we seek an experienced Interim CFO to join our team. Responsibilities :
Financial Stabilization and Leadership : Provide hands-on leadership to stabilize and enhance the finance and accounting functions.
Lead the monthly close and reporting process, ensuring accuracy and financial integrity.
Strategic Partnership : Act as a senior strategic partner to the CEO, Board of Directors, and Private Equity (EQT), contributing to key decisions and strategic initiatives.
Prepare zero-based budgets for quarterly board meetings, demonstrating a deep understanding of financial planning and analysis.
Business Growth and Financial Planning : Develop a comprehensive plan to achieve positive EBITDA within 18 months, driving financial sustainability and growth.
Requirements :
- Proven CFO experience in a similar-sized business, preferably within Clean Tech or B2B Real Estate Development sectors.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with Private Equity firms, understanding their operational and reporting requirements.
- Strong executive presence with excellent communication skills, capable of interfacing effectively with boards, investors, and executive leadership.
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial forecasting, with a track record of implementing effective financial strategies.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, lean environment, with a hands-on approach and a sense of urgency.
- Experience with NetSuite and managing distributed employee bases is preferred.
- Startup experience is highly valued, showcasing adaptability and strategic thinking in evolving environments.
Compensation depends on experience but is typically $125-175 / hr W2
