Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring for an Email Automation Specialist to be a key part of our Marketing team in LaVergne, TN just outside Nashville.

The Email Automation Specialist manages the end-to-end process of configuring and deploying targeted B2B marketing emails using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

This Specialist supports marketing managers with email deployment, best practices, and reporting. They act as the Marketing lead for Ingram's proprietary ipage order and content management system.

They also administer and support marketing systems and related back-end processes as needed. This person works with internal and external resources to create, build, and support workflows and processes for various systems.

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, communications or related subject or year for year direct experience deploying email using marketing software systems.
  • 3 years of experience using marketing and sales technology
  • 1 year of experience with email marketing

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar tools such as Eloqua, Marketo, etc.
  • Experience using Google Analytics

Key Responsibilities :

  • Deploy B2B channels email communications using email and marketing automation software (Salesforce Marketing Cloud) in efficient, accurate, and time sensitive manner
  • Maintain calendar for e-communication sending, monitoring volume and channel relevance.
  • Develop knowledge of Ingram data and systems, including understanding company structure, legacy systems, and connections
  • Advise colleagues regarding tools and strategies for critical email communication and deployment.
  • Assist with deliverability tracking, data analysis and campaign reporting and provide campaign effectiveness and optimization information, as needed.
  • Create special lists for targeted communications.
  • Leverage marketing technology to automate campaigns and processes where possible.
  • Ensure email lists maintain standards for legal, privacy, and security compliance.
  • Keep stakeholders updated on live campaigns and maintain a feedback loop to avoid breakdowns.
  • Administer and support other marketing software and technology, including adding and removing users, fielding questions from internal customers, and researching issues
  • Serve as primary technical contact for external contractors for development support, testing, and troubleshooting marketing software and tools
  • Trouble-shoot day-to-day issues with marketing software and tools including Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot and other systems
  • Maintain primary responsibility for recurring service alert communications such as Street-Smart announcements, new account e-mails, and new contact messages.
  • Monitor reply to mailboxes to assist with customer complaints and concerns related to Ingram e-communications and route messages to appropriate parties as needed.
  • Technical lead for Customer Management Assets (CMA) in Ingram's ipage system, including working with IT to identify and resolve issues
  • Advise ipage Product Manager and related leadership concerning the role of CMA-created content within ipage.
  • Assist content creators and managers with functionality issues and provide relevant CMA training as needed to help ensure the optimal user experience.
  • Edit and launch ipage content, as needed.
  • Works with ipage Product Manager and Channel Marketing to post content related to ipage releases and functionality changes.
  • Report and analyze data to improve business operations
