Quality Assurance Specialist (REQ# 38235): 47626

STS Technical Services is hiring a Quality Assurance Specialist for a position in Atlanta, Georgia . This role is responsible for ensuring quality assurance and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements through audits, data analysis, and documentation review.

The ideal candidate will have experience in executing sustainability strategies for airline ground operations and managing ACS Environmental processes.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage project execution and follow-up, monitor and manage information, balance multiple priorities, and meet deadlines and objectives.
• Previous experience executing a sustainability strategy roadmap for an airline ground operation.
• Previous experience with ACS Environmental processes, procedures, and tools.
• Sound knowledge of safety management principles and practices, with strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MS 365 applications.
• Availability to work and travel outside of normal business hours.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all activities involving quality assurance and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements; conduct audits and review / analyze data and documentation.
• Develop, execute, and promote the ACS Divisional strategy roadmap to deliver APU OFF performance in line with established goals.
• Manage and develop a team of specialists (contractors) whose primary mission is the reduction of APU run time.
• Coordinate team activities across the enterprise to ensure project integrity and consistency.
• Serve as the primary POC for the ACS Environmental Program, monitoring and identifying areas of improvement in Core Task Completion reporting at a station level.
• Identify high-risk stations through data analysis tools and work with local leadership to identify opportunities for improvement and process enhancements.
• Lead high-visibility, high-impact projects for ACS that improve overall divisional Safety, Security, and Compliance performance.
• Drive the ACS Safety Management System by leading and participating in SRA and ensuring station leadership applies SRM / SRA for any of the four SMS triggers.
• Reinforce standards and expectations by coaching and correcting employees.
• Elevate ground safety issues to leadership as needed.
• Participate in ACS Ground Safety meetings and calls.
• Share lessons learned and other communications with employees and leadership.
• Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
