Job Summary
The Internal Communications Specialist is responsible for developing and executing internal communication strategies within an organization.
They create and deliver engaging content to inform and engage employees, ensuring consistent messaging and alignment with the company's goals and values.
They may utilize various communication channels, such as intranet platforms, email campaigns, mobile platforms, and social media, to effectively reach and engage employees.
Additionally, they may collaborate with different departments to support internal events, initiatives, and change management efforts.
Strong writing, editing, and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Focuses on writing, editing, and proofreading content for a variety of internal communications and publications by crafting compelling and informative content.
- Ensures all content is clear, consistent, and aligns with our brand voice and messaging.
- Creates engaging narratives that bring our company's mission, values, and achievements to life.
- Collaborates with different departments to uncover and highlight stories that resonate with our employees and reinforce our organizational culture.
- Maintains, and updates a publications calendar to ensure timely distribution and publication of content.
- Coordinates with relevant stakeholders to gather input, schedule content releases, and meet deadlines.
- Collaborates with the communications team to develop comprehensive communications plans for various initiatives and projects.
- Produces, and analyzes reports on effectiveness of campaigns to maximize results.
- Contributes to the creation of key messages, talking points, and communication strategies to effectively convey information to employees.
- Complies with all Company policies, procedures, rules and standards.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor Degree
Experience : 1-3 years
Licenses and Certifications

Physical Requirements
Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.
