Accountant Position

Aston Carter is partnered with a great company to work for that is looking to hire an experienced Accountant to their team! The company requires at least 2 years of public accounting experience and would prefer around 5 years of total experience. A Bachelors in Accounting is required and a CPA is highly preferred.

Job Description

A well-established organization is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join its accounting team. This role is integral to the day-to-day financial operations, including monthly reconciliations, lease accounting, and fixed asset management. The ideal candidate will also contribute to technical accounting matters and support various strategic projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly account reconciliations and post necessary adjustments.
• Assist in monthly general ledger reviews.
• Manage lease accounting processes.
• Oversee fixed asset accounting and related software.
• Develop, monitor, and enforce internal controls.
• Compile documentation for annual audits.
• Provide financial support to leadership.
• Participate in special projects and other assigned duties.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41.00 - $43.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
