Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers a rewarding opportunity for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services to students from PreK through elementary grades in a dynamic K-12 school setting located in Gastonia, NC. The role is a full-time contract position for the 20232026 school years, with an immediate start.
Responsibilities :
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Conduct assessments, maintain thorough documentation, and monitor student progress.
- Participate in professional meetings, trainings, and contribute to maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications :
Valid North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License.Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status, or eligible for School SLP certification.Experience working with children in elementary and PreK settings preferred.Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a school environment.Job Details :
