Position Overview : We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting.

This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities : Accounts Payable and Receivable : Process invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payment. Manage customer accounts, including invoicing and collections.

Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. General Ledger Maintenance : Record and categorize financial transactions in the general ledger.

Assist with monthly and year-end closing processes. Prepare and post journal entries as required. Financial Reporting : Generate and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Reconciliation and Analysis : Reconcile bank statements and internal accounts.

Analyze financial data and provide insights for decision-making. Prepare reports on financial performance and variances.

Administrative Support : Maintain accurate and organized financial records. Assist with audits and ensure documentation is complete and up-to-date.

Provide support to the finance team as needed. Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or a similar role. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).

Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Strong organizational and time management skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

Preferred Qualifications : Certification as a CPA or CMA (Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant) is a plus.
