Job Description :
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Travel Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide behavior analysis services in school districts nationwide.
In this role, you will assess students' behavioral needs, develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs), and collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment for students with behavioral and developmental challenges.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify the root causes of students' challenging behaviors.
- Develop and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) in alignment with students Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Provide direct support and behavior analysis services to students, both individually and in group settings.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school staff to integrate behavioral strategies within the classroom and school environment.
- Participate in IEP meetings to develop, review, and monitor students behavioral goals and progress.
- Train and support teachers, paraprofessionals, and staff on behavior management techniques and interventions.
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of behavior intervention strategies and adjust plans as needed.
- Monitor student progress and prepare reports to share with the IEP team and parents.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student success and independence.
Qualifications :
- Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Active Board Certification (BCBA) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure in applicable states.
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a school-based setting.
- Strong knowledge of behavior analysis principles, techniques, and relevant regulations (e.g., IDEA, IEP development).
- Excellent data collection, assessment, and communication skills.
- Ability to travel and adapt to diverse school environments.
- Collaborative and solution-oriented approach to working with educators, parents, and school teams.
