Location : HORSHAM, PA
The Director of Finance is a business partner responsible for business case development for major initiatives across the organization;
Asset Strategy analyses, Investment analysis, Strategic Sourcing Analysis, etc. The role includes ownership and management of major one-time costs associated with the strategic projects and major Insurance Claim financial management.
The Director also leads the monthly Strategic Investment Committee Meetings with Company Sr. Leaders. #LI-VB1
Primary Responsibilities :
- Business Case Development / Major Initiative Support
- Develop in-depth business cases analyzing options & scenarios.
- Partner with Business Owners and various functional leaders to create strategic options.
- Develop business cases : analysis, presentation materials and communication packages in support of major business reviews and decisions.
- Analyze / challenge and present the financial impacts of strategic sourcing options for most beneficial business outcomes.
- Financial Management : Strategic One-Time costs & accruals
- Manage the accuracy and completeness of the Restructure projects.
- Drive the forecast and analyze options for discussion.
- Communicate regularly to Sr. Management impacts and status of the major events and implications.
- Manage major project Postmortem analysis and process.
- Liaison with the Parent Company on major business case investments and managing the cross-border approval / analysis process, ensuring Local Management alignment and global approvals.
- Manage major business interruption Insurance Claims from the Finance support perspective.
- Manage a team of 2 professionals and the team's ongoing development.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- MBA Preferred
- 7-10 years of experience : Business Finance, Business Performance, Accounting, Strategy
- Strong system knowledge and expertise; Excel, PowerPoint, Oracle, Power BI
- Proven complex modeling skills.
- Ability to work independently and participate in a team environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and strategic thinking
- Initiative-taking with strong communication skills
- Ability to influence across various levels and functions within an organization.
