Director of Financial Communications

Our corporate office in Livonia, Michigan is currently seeking a Director of Financial Communications to join our Finance team.

The Director is responsible for designing, drafting, and reviewing all key stakeholder communications, including materials for the board of directors, lenders, suppliers, customers, executive leadership, and others.

They will also be responsible for organizing agendas for key stakeholder communications, including aligning executive leadership on the agenda / meeting objectives, designing and communicating content needs to be prepared, and updating / revising the content to be shared in a visually appealing way that aligns with Mastronardi Produce’s brand and messaging.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Develop and execute a robust external stakeholder relations strategy aligned with company goals.
• Organize agendas and design and coordinate materials for stakeholder meetings, conferences, and calls. Including materials for the board of directors, lenders, suppliers, customers, executive leadership, and others.
• Present financial results, business strategies, and other relevant information to various stakeholders that professionally, clearly, and accurately reflects the operations and vision of Mastronardi Produce.
• Monitor industry trends and analyst reports to identify opportunities and challenges.
• Craft compelling narratives that highlight the company’s strengths, growth potential, and investment opportunities.
• Develop visually appealing pitch decks that align with the Company’s brand and messaging.
• Create impactful slides, incorporating data, graphics, and concise text to convey complex information effectively.
• Work closely with financial teams to translate financial data (revenue projections, cost structures, etc.) into clear visuals.
• Collaborate with executive management, company leaders, and stakeholders to develop corporate messaging and market positioning.
• Conduct industry research to support key points in stakeholder communications.
• Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and stakeholder preferences.
• Provide guidance on best practices for stakeholder presentations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education / Background Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
• 7+ years of proven experience in investor relations, finance, or related fields.
• Strong communication skills to convey our financial narrative clearly.
• Ability to blend finance, communication, and marketing effectively.
• The ability to prioritize work in a fast-moving environment, manage a large number of issues at one time, and interact with senior and executive management.
• Self-starter with strong analytical and collaborative skills; adaptability and ability to apply existing skills to unfamiliar subject matter areas.
• Experience collaborating on a broad range of business strategies and issues.
