Job Title : Instrumentation and Controls Engineer
Job Duration : 1 year to start, conversion to permanent within the 3-6 month mark.
Job Location : Onsite; client in Boise, ID
Additional Notes : Will be open to relocation for the right applicant.
Job Description :
- Work on projects including state of the art industrial and commercial facilities.
- You’ll be accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, as you gain familiarity with the clients expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.
- You’ll also provide on-site assistance during startup, coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead.
- Your multi-discipline, highly interactive team will produce designs for electrical circuits and panels utilizing control applications, designs for control systems for a variety of processes, and develop options and optimizations for all aspects of the process control, instrumentation, and automation.
Job Related Experience :
Preferred Level : 6 Years
Education :
- Preferred Level : Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited university
- Preferred Majors : Engineering
Licenses / Certifications (preferred not required) :
EIT or PE ideal
Skills Required :
- At least 6 Years of experience working with Instrumentation and Controls.
- Working knowledge of PLC, DCS, and other controls applications.
- Experience related to semiconductor fabrication facilities.
- Experience reviewing vendor submittal packages against client requirements and specifications.
- Field experiences interacting with subcontractors and construction personnel.
Skills Desired :
- Ideally, you’ll have an Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license.
