Micron has an outstanding opportunity for a high-energy, tenacious, ambitious, result-derive individual with a strong work ethic and integrity to join our Facilities Team in Boise, Idaho.

Micron is seeking an experienced Instrumentation and Controls Coordinator to work in our new semiconductor fab in Boise, Idaho.

As an Instrumentation and Controls Coordinator at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for coordinating and prioritizing work associated with asset management, scheduled maintenance, system modifications, and new equipment installation to include all outsourced services for the newly constructed campus as it pertains to the main control system architecture, network, PLCs, and remote I / O panels down to the equipment level.

This position also works closely with the operations crew on system operation and is the primary interface between Micron and any outsourced services vendors performing service, maintenance, and operations on these systems, ensuring they do not cause impacts, or affect quality.

Qualifications :

  • Follow all safety protocols, procedures and LOTO
  • Excellent multi-tasking, time-management, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Proven ability to communicate complex analysis in a succinct and actionable manner
  • Proven skills in working effectively with team members from different disciplines
  • Strong leadership skills with the proven ability to coordinate efforts across a variety of groups
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and efficiently facilitate meetings and project teams
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, propose, and implement effective plans to improve overall efficiency
  • Strong partnering, negotiation, and team-working skills with team members from different disciplines.
  • Proven ability to communicate and present technical information effectively to all audiences
  • Strong understanding of data extraction, data analysis, and reporting methodologies

Education and Experience :

  • Required : Minimum Relevant degree or appropriate certifications / licensing and two years of Instrumentation and Controls experience or five years of Instrumentation and Controls experience
  • Preferred : Associate or bachelor’s degree with five years of electrical maintenance experience
