Temporary Research Support - Department of Microbiology

About the Job

Individual will be responsible for basic laboratory tasks including taking glassware to be washed, preparing glassware for sterilization, and preparing / autoclaving / pouring / storing media and other laboratory solutions and supplies.

Individual may also help laboratory researchers with analyzing experimental data, for example counting colonies / cells and determining cell size measurements based on digital images.

Lab Housekeeping- 60%; Prep of lab materials- 40%

Qualifications

Required Qualifications :

High School Diploma / GED or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications :

Prior laboratory experience
