We’re looking for a self-motivated, innovative, and passionate Seattle Sports fan to help evolve our output, design, and video presence to grow audience across our website and social media channels.

Position Overview

The Video Content Producer is responsible for creating, producing, developing and distributing video content that will be shared across Seattle Sports and SeattleSports.

com digital platforms and social networks. The ideal candidate has a passion for sports and local conversation, is self-motivated, and is constantly innovating their approach to content technically, tactically, and creatively.

We are looking for a candidate who can direct, produce, edit, and re-purpose video segments and original videos to create a desired impact, matching our brands and engaging our listeners.

The Bonneville Seattle Sports Video Producer is responsible for shooting, producing, and editing videos for distribution on all platforms (web and social channels), including those for Bonneville Seattle clients.

The Video Producer will work closely with station talent and the digital content team in creating original content and support material to help with sales.

This person will shoot and edit videos in studio and / or in the field.

Note : Work configurations are subject to change based on business needs and at company discretion.

This position is an onsite role that requires the employee to regularly work at our Seattle site.

What You Will Do :

Primary job duties will include, but are not limited to :

  • Shoot, direct, create, produce, and edit high-end original longform and shortform video content for distribution across multiple digital platforms.
  • Re-purpose video content from shows for distribution across multiple digital platforms.
  • Create marketing videos for the Seattle Sports and SeattleSports.com brands and / or partners.
  • Curate digital content from partners and / or user generated content.
  • Create a video content calendar for distribution across multiple digital platforms.
  • Create graphics designed for video.
  • Lead in-house video production by working closely with talent and digital content team.
  • Properly plan and communicate with digital sales team on video opportunities, performance, and scheduling.
  • Work closely with clients in identifying needs by storyboarding and creating project briefs.
  • Brand champion for Bonneville Seattle by following and communicating company guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitor video production performance.
  • Report on video projects and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Project manage and communicate video schedules and related campaign launches.
  • Work in tandem with the digital content team and digital sales team.

Skills and Experience We Are Looking For :

  • 3-5 years of video directing, producing, editing.
  • Strong video editing ability in Adobe Premiere.
  • Strong storytelling skills, creativity and a passion for pitching and executing story ideas from ideation to publication.
  • Fluency in the YouTube mediascape and other emerging platforms.
  • Must possess demonstrated communication and organization skills, and ability to react quickly and positively under a wide variety of situations.
  • Familiarity with Seattle Sports programming and platforms.
  • Working knowledge in creating graphics for social media and web platforms. (Expertise in graphic design and motion graphics preferred.)
  • Passion for telling stories through video production.
  • Understanding of production and post-production processes.
  • Working knowledge of media encode formats.
  • Avid follower of pop culture.
  • Experience creating appealing content through Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube, Tik Tok, and other social media platforms.
  • Willing to work in an entertainment environment and experience working in sports preferred.
  • Proficient skills in Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Apple Motion, Illustrator & basic HTML skills preferred.
  • Experience with live streaming platforms (OBS Studio, Wirecast, evmux, etc.) preferred.
  • Training in video and audio production, communication, journalism, marketing, business, or related field preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Experience working with DSLR cameras preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic lighting configurations preferred.
  • Experience with recording field and studio audio preferred.

Physical Demands

  • Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and / or written communication effectively.
  • Manual dexterity and fine motor skills to operate computer keys and general office equipment. Ability to work on a computer for prolonged periods of time.
  • Sit and / or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Lift, move, and carry up to 50 pounds on occasion.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Compensation Range

$24.00 - $31.50

Hourly rate will be determined by an evaluation of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant along with internal and external benchmarks.
