POSITION : Executive Assistant / Sales Support
TERRITORY : Remote / need to reside in or around Birmingham, AB;Huntsville, AB; or Atlanta, GA
MacDonald Search Group is a national permanent placement recruiting firm and we recruit on behalf of hiring companies.
We are recruiting on behalf of a very established and reputable North American manufacturer of office equipment who is expanding their US sales team in the Southeast and they are on the hunt for an administrator to support the existing Sales Manager and the newly hired team of 4 Sales Reps in the region.
This role will require executive assistant duties to the Sales Manager and sales support duties for the team of 4 Sales Reps.
There is no physical office in the region so this will primarily be a remote / work from home position with some occasional in-person meetings with the Sales Manager who lives in the state and also some industry or company events.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Reside in either Birmingham , Huntsville or Atlanta
- Post-secondary education preferred but not mandatory.
- 3+ years of experience as an executive assistant or similar position.
- Experience supporting sales teams or executives is preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity with sales processes and CRM software is a plus, but not required.
Compensation :
- Base salary plus bonus
- 3 weeks vacation
