Full Job DescriptionLessler's Draperies & Design, a trusted name in San Diego for over 64 years, is seeking a talented and creative Window Coverings Sales / Designer to join our team.

In this role, you will blend your design expertise with your sales acumen to help clients find the perfect window treatments for their homes and businesses.

You will guide clients through the entire process, from consultation to installation, ensuring their spaces are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

With over 64 years of experience, we specialize in roller shades, blinds, draperies, valances, cornices, exterior window treatments, shutters, and motorized systems.

Our mission is to improve people's lives through expertly crafted window coverings, combining functionality with aesthetic appeal.

We pride ourselves on our ability to guide customers toward the best solutions for their needs, ensuring that each product not only meets but exceeds expectations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to : -Client Consultation : Meet with clients in-home or in our showroom to discuss their needs, preferences, and style to recommend the best window coverings solutions.

• Design Expertise : Provide professional design advice, create mood boards, and suggest color schemes and materials that align with the client's vision and the functional requirements of their space.
• Sales : Develop and present compelling sales proposals, close sales, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the entire sales process.
• Product Knowledge : Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, products, and technologies in window treatments, including roller shades, blinds, shutters, draperies, and motorization options.
• Measuring and Quoting : Accurately measure windows, assess installation requirements, and prepare detailed quotes for clients.
• Collaboration : Work closely with the installation team to ensure seamless execution of designs and timely project completion.
• Customer Service : Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing follow-up support and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales, and design proposals using our CRM and design software.

The ideal candidate should possess : -Experience : 5+ Years of proven experience in interior design, window coverings, or a related field is highly preferred.

• Sales Skills : Strong sales background with the ability to close deals and meet sales targets.-Design Proficiency : Solid understanding of design principles, color theory, and materials, with a creative flair for interior aesthetics.
• Ability to learn products and options.-Technical Skills : Ability to accurately measure windows, level and plumb, and understand installation requirements;

familiarity with design software is a plus.-Customer-Focused : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

• Detail-Oriented : High attention to detail, ensuring precision in design, measurement, and quoting.-Problem-Solving : Ability to troubleshoot design challenges and provide innovative solutions to meet client needs.
• Organizational Skills : Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
