Position Summary The Inside Sales Representative manages client accounts by quoting and selling new product, parts and servicing customers in support of the organization’s financial, marketing, and production goals.

The inside sales rep delivers on the brand’s promise, drives sales volume, and ensures quality and consistency to maximize customer acquisition and retention.

Essential Functions Generate new sales and target new accounts. Achieve and monitor sales objectives in an assigned territory or area.

Work in close cooperation with branch and headquarter employees. Maintain new and existing customer base. Perform duties associated with the sales process of furnishing, installing, and servicing automatic and manual doors and components.

Prospecting customers, consulting, estimating, generating quotes, securing contracts, managing projects, and other related tasks associated with turnkey projects.

Prepare new order paperwork for hand-off to Project Manager. Assist with handling change orders and back charges. Prepare weekly / monthly sales reports as requested.

Assist with application questions, quote requests and order processing for Dealer sales. Help assemble sales routes for outside reps.

Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Knowledge of manufacturing, sales, and distribution processes, as well as product line and competition Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Customer and results driven Concise and professional written, presentation and, and verbal communication skills Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work positively / effectively with people at all levels Self-motivated and creative with a strong desire to succeed and surpass goals Must be an excellent negotiator with the ability to talk with customers / accounts to increase sales margins Ability to achieve new business opportunities Proficient computer skills including MS Office (Outlook, Word, etc.

Ability to read architectural drawings Strong leader with success in managing and motivating others to obtain results Highly organized with the tenacity to succeed in a growing and fast paced organization Forward thinking, adaptable, and creative leader, capable of strategic thinking and planning Able to manage change, influence others, be a team player, and gain group commitment Able to work additional hours Education, Training, Experience High School Diploma or GED required Minimum of two years’ experience in sales / service of automatic doors or similar products required Demonstrated ability to lead and develop sales D egree in management arena (operations, business, etc.

preferred Experience working with general contractors and end users preferred Working Conditions and Physical Demands Work environment is dynamic.

Travel may be required. Must drive, walk, and work in all weather conditions, including hazardous on rare occasion. Long periods of sitting and working at a computer will also be necessary.

Sedentary work is performed in an office. Typical office equipment such as a computer, laptop, and phone are used. There may be exposure to factories or jobsites that include noisy, dusty, and dirty environments and motorized equipment that may pose safety hazards.

Reaching is necessary above shoulder height and below the waist. Lifting up to 30 lbs. as required to assist with materials;
