Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Research Associate II

Position type : 12 Month Contract position

Location : Bothell, WA

Pay Range : $30 / HR - $38 / HR

We are seeking a highly capable Biochemist or Chemist with 2-4 years of industry experience to assist with high throughput bioconjugation and characterization of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) as part of the core conjugation group within Research.

This person will play a critical role in supporting preclinical efforts to develop novel antibody-based therapeutics.

Responsibilities : Operation of a liquid handling robot (Tecan). Analytical characterization of antibodies and ADCs including HPLC, LC / MS and spectroscopy.

Preparation, purification, and characterization of ADCs using established conjugation methodologies. Data and report generation including regular review of data with manager.

Communicate regularly with colleagues, relaying data and ADC delivery details. Preparation of critical reagents and maintenance of inventories.

Routine laboratory cleaning and equipment maintenance.

Required qualifications : Minimum of 2 years post-baccalaureate lab experience in an academic or industry environment and a BA / BS or MS degree in biochemistry, chemistry, or related field.

Experience performing analytical chromatography of proteins. Willingness to work with potent cytotoxic compounds, following safety protocols.

Preferred qualifications : Prior experience operating a liquid handling robot (Tecan Fluent), performing plate-based (96-well) experiments, and analytical protein LC / MS.

An ideal candidate will have previous experience performing bio-conjugation techniques.

Candidates must have good communication skills and great attention to detail.

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
