The Commercial Superintendent is responsible for project success by scheduling crews, materials, and equipment, overseeing safety, quality control, job costing, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

- Lead and coach Team Leads and help them meet goals and solve problems
- Accountability for job costs and project success

- Jump in to perform production work to meet deadlines

- Work independently and have the self-motivation and drive to carry out work orders and instructions from the Operations Manager.
Your role involves
- Communicating with crews, customers, vendors, and GCs on project details and scheduling
- Handling tactical construction duties such as :
- Ordering materials & supplies and scheduling equipment rentals
- Submitting and completing field tickets
- Assisting with estimates and project billing.
- Participating in safety meetings, GC coordination meetings, hand-off meetings, review and learns, and KPC operations meetings
- Supervisory duties such as :
- Scheduling crew members, assigning duties, and providing job training
- Reviewing crew member timesheets daily
- Verifying and evaluating crew member and Team Lead performance
- Training crew members in the proper painting techniques
- Maintaining compliance with employment laws
You have the following experience, skills & qualifications :
- 2 years' experience as a Construction Supervisor
- 2 years' experience in Commercial Painting preferred
- Valid Driver's License
- Bilingual in English & Spanish a plus!
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Physical capabilities include :
- Lift and maneuver up to 100lbs
- Stand, walk, climb, kneel, reach, push, pull and perform repetitive motions through the day for long periods of time
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather (We do live in Kansas!)
