We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant / CPA for an established Commercial Property Management Company. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting and finance, with a focus on commercial real estate or property management.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managing financial operations for our diverse portfolio of commercial properties.
Responsibilities :
- Perform day-to-day accounting functions, including general ledger entries.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for property owners and management.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Coordinate with property managers to review and analyze property-level financial performance.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes for commercial properties.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with external auditors and tax advisors during year-end audits and tax filings.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-making related to property acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing activities.
- Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed.
