LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnered with a growing construction company in Las Vegas, NV that is looking to add a Fleet Coordinator to the team! This is a full-time in-office position Monday through Friday, 6am-2pm or 7am -3pm.
Pay rate : $20-$24 depending on experience.
Fleet Inventory / Fleet Coordinator and Registration Job Duties
1. Fleet Inventory Management
- Maintain an accurate record of fleet inventory, including vehicle details such as make, model, VIN, mileage, and condition.
- Track vehicle acquisitions, disposals, and transfers within the fleet.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure fleet vehicles are well-maintained and compliant with company standards.
- Manage and monitor fleet fuel cards and vehicle keys, ensuring proper usage and documentation.
2. Fleet Operations Coordination
- Schedule and coordinate regular maintenance and repairs with authorized service providers to minimize vehicle downtime.
- Arrange transportation and logistics for vehicle transfers or deliveries between locations as needed.
- Track and oversee fleet expenses, including maintenance, fuel, insurance, and registration fees.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and operations, to ensure fleet availability aligns with business needs.
3. Registration and Compliance
- Handle registration, renewal, and licensing of all fleet vehicles to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Maintain a database of registration and licensing documents, ensuring that all vehicles are registered accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor expiration dates for vehicle tags, inspections, and insurance policies, coordinating timely renewals.
- Ensure all fleet vehicles meet safety and emission standards as required by state regulations.
4. Reporting and Documentation
- Generate regular reports on fleet status, including usage, maintenance schedules, and inventory turnover.
- Prepare and submit budget forecasts and cost analysis for fleet management.
- Document and report any incidents, accidents, or damage involving fleet vehicles, working closely with insurance providers as necessary.
- Track and analyze fleet data to optimize usage and reduce costs, implementing efficiency measures where possible.
5. Communication and Support
- Serve as the primary point of contact for fleet-related inquiries from internal stakeholders.
- Train and support drivers on fleet policies, vehicle operation, and fuel card usage.
- Coordinate with insurance providers, registration agencies, and other external vendors to address fleet issues and ensure compliance.
- Provide exceptional support to staff and drivers, addressing fleet issues promptly and professionally.
Requirements :
Must have high school diploma or equivalent
Must be intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, v-look ups)
Bilingual in Spanish is a huge plus but not required.
Must have Fleet, Inventory, or Construction Project Coordinator experience to qualify.
