The community you'll be caring for : More than 800 physicians, 450 advanced practice providers, and 2,600 clinical and support staff in over 40 specialties, provide patients with a broad range of medical and surgical services. The value you'll bring to the team : The Financial Manager (FM) interacts with AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) CFO, members of the AHMG leadership team and finance team members to provide relevant, accurate and timely financial information. The FM coordinates the development, implementation and deployment of strategic information that will have a financial impact or improvement opportunity within the organization. These financial impacts include but are not limited to revenue, cost, efficiency of process and productivity.
The role you'll contribute : Ad hoc reporting for the AdventHealth Medical Group leadership team. Review and monitor financial metrics on a routine basis (daily, weekly, monthly). Present financial and trended statistical data on a routine basis both orally and written. Develop, calculate the financial impact and support process improvement / actionable information at all levels of the organization which includes but is not limited to business plans and strategic opportunities. Executes procedures and process of the department and the organization.
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed : Minimum qualifications : Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or a business related field. 1 year of experience in healthcare industry finance / accounting and / or 3-5 years of overall experience in Finance / Accounting / related field. Ability to influence change, clarify ambiguity, and mobilize team members at all levels in the organization for meaningful action.
Preferred experience : Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting or a business-related field. Experience in the healthcare industry Finance / Accounting environment.
