WHAT YOU’LL DO : Analyze project plans and specifications to provide accurate cost estimates. Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure financial goals are met.
Prepare detailed cost breakdowns for materials, labor, and subcontractors. Stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and construction techniques to maintain competitiveness.
Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals for upcoming construction projects. Monitor project progress and costs, adjusting estimates as necessary to keep projects on track.
REQUIREMENTS : Strong attention to detail and a passion for numbers and precision. 5+ years’ experience in construction cost estimating or a related field.
Ability to analyze and interpret construction plans and specifications. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Proficiency in estimating software is a plus.
