Duties / Responsibilities :
- Consults with HR team and HR Director to understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for the specified vacant position(s).
- Collects and analyzes data to maintain current understanding of fair and competitive market salaries, candidate availability, and demand for candidates in particular fields.
- Consults data and records to identify and select potential candidates for vacant positions.
- Screens candidates, selects qualified and interested candidates for the interviewing phase, and then connects viable candidates with hiring managers and HR Director.
- Checks candidates' references and credentials, verifying experience and backgrounds.
- Counsels candidates on the interview and hiring process.
- Submits Background check requests and follows up on results.
- Conducts new employee orientation
- Organizes and attends job fairs, campus events, and other networking opportunities.
- Follows up with clients or hiring managers after the interview process to determine whether a placement can be made; collects feedback when placement is unsuccessful.
- Maintains and ensures compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations.
- Works diligently with HR Director to manage day to day HR related matters.
- Conducts successful and efficient communication with different ARS Departments.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills / Abilities :
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with aptitude in conducting interviews.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Fair knowledge of Caregiving recruitment and placement.
- Thorough understanding of EEO, ADA, and other related employment laws and guidelines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Preferred Education and Experience :
- At least two years of recruiting or Human Resources related experience
- AA Degree or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Physical Requirements :
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Hire on bonus $1000 available and is distributed as follows :
- $500 at 30 days
- $500 after completion of a successful 90 day review
