As a Corporate Revenue Management Coordinator, you will support the Revenue Management leadership team toward the success of Virgin Hotels Collection.
Although the role is by nature analytical, our working environment is collaborative and will require frequent coordination with multiple stakeholders including teammates on your own team, in other divisions including Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations to mention a few.
This is a hybrid role based out of the Virgin Hotels corporate offices in Coconut Grove, FL.
The Nitty-Gritty :
What exactly you will be doing...
Reporting to the Corporate Director of Distribution and Revenue Strategy, with a dotted line to the Area Revenue Analytics Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include :
- Support the team with analysis of market trends, competitor pricing, historical data, systems generated data and data provided by third parties or other Virgin Companies
- Prepare revenue reports and performance analysis for management review and field use
- Participate in revenue meetings and contribute to discussions on pricing, distribution channels, segments performance, special campaigns, Loyalty program and much more
- Support in evaluation of group business to ensure maximization of revenues for both guest rooms and food & beverage
- Retrieve and prepare daily or weekly Revenue Management reports to support standing Strategy Meetings or focus projects
- In collaboration with Sales and the Director of Distribution and Revenue Strategy, develop and execute pricing strategies and rate parameters for existing market segments and new opportunity segments
- As required review inventory daily, weekly, monthly to ensure appropriate oversell strategies are in place to maximize revenues and balance where needed
- Stay current with industry and market trends, location based special events and how they may impact demand
- Liaise regularly with the Area Revenue Analytics Manager to ensure alignment of the teams needs and goals
- Verify accuracy of Group blocks vs contract and manage availability to ensure maximum hotel RevPAR over contracted dates
- Validate reports and data at different levels of granularity
- Support the CRS Distribution build out, channel and third-party data and RMS connections in the launch of new Virgin Hotels joining the portfolio
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Distribution and Revenue Strategy

Background must-have :
- This is a hybrid role based out of the Virgin Hotels corporate offices in Coconut Grove, FL
- Current, legal and unrestricted ability to work in the United States
- A minimum of two years of Revenue Management discipline experience required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel required
- Hotel Management / Hospitality degree is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of SynXis CRS, INFOR HMS, Duetto or IdeaS RMS desired
