At Cornerstone, we are searching for a proactive Safety Coordinator to champion our safety, health, and environmental programs, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees, contractors, and community.
As the Safety Coordinator, you will play a critical role in driving a culture of safety across our projects while supporting Cornerstone’s mission to deliver the highest quality craftsmanship in the Pacific Northwest.
You will be entrusted with the responsibility to enforce safety standards, coach field leadership, and implement site-specific safety programs, all while maintaining a focus on zero preventable injuries.

com / p / MxgyjutJzctnIrFKy55 Key Responsibilities : Lead the enforcement of corporate health and safety programs, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards.
Partner with field leaders and project teams to develop and implement project-specific safety plans. Coach and educate field leadership and tradespeople on safety requirements, fostering a positive safety culture.
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure regulatory and safety standards are upheld. Collaborate with third-party safety consultants and support Workers Compensation claims, accident investigations, and safety reporting.
Promote mentorship and inclusion, working with MWBE subcontractors and supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts in the workplace.
What You’ll Bring : Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Safety, Construction Management, etc. 3 years of industry experience with a proven track record in safety management and leadership.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills to foster trust with field supervision and company management. Entrepreneurial attitude and self-motivation, with the ability to drive projects forward and ensure compliance.
Proficiency in safety software (Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project) and cloud-based applications. Core Values and Personal Qualities : Grit : Persistence and determination to overcome challenges.
