Staff ML Software Engineer, AI Video Research/Innovation

Minimum qualifications : Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures / algorithms.

5 years of experience testing, and launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.

Experience with machine learning algorithms and tools (e.g., TensorFlow), artificial intelligence, deep learning, natural language processing or other ML discipline.

Experience in Generative AI (e.g., Large Language Models, Multi-Modal, Large Vision Models).Preferred qualifications : Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, and / or cross-business projects.

3 years of direct experience developing and launching ML based product workflows.3 years of experience with standard Google ML Infrastructure and frameworks, and willingness to learn new ones as necessary.

Experience developing / using Machine Learning models for Vision.Experience with on-device ML models. About the job As a Machine Learning Software Engineer, you will help make multimodal video first AI experiences a reality.

You will make direct technical contributions while navigating ambiguity. This role will be largely self-directed and operate independently with minimal oversight.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $189,000-$284,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
