Position Overview :

As a Mitigation Project Manager / Estimator , you will be at the forefront of our emergency response, providing extraordinary care to customers facing fire, water, storm, mold, lead, asbestos or other elements.

The Mitigation Project Manager / Estimator also has the overall responsibility for the Emergency Service work being performed, client communications and properly documenting & estimating completed work.

Your mission is to give our customers the best experience they've ever had. You do this by communicating proactively to the customer, letting them know that if they have questions, you are available to them.

Check-in with the customer to give status updates and professionally interact with assigned insurance personnel.

In this role, you will be expected to :

  • Respond to Emergency Services - Water Damage, Trauma, Fire & Board-ups.
  • Responsible for cultivating & building teams to perform needed work.
  • Work effectively and efficiently with other team members ensuing work is completed properly.
  • Maintain timely and proper communication between clients, insurance carrier and in-house staff.
  • Oversee and / or perform labor tasks, such as demo, placement of equipment and removal of debris.
  • Oversee the quality of workmanship on-site and ensure compliance with our high standards.
  • Act as a daily contact for the customer, ensuring their needs are met and questions are answered.
  • Able to monitor and provide appropriate documentation for dry-out & remediation jobs to all parties.
  • Climbing, reaching, bending, squatting, crawling.
  • Strong desire to help others during a difficult time.
  • Can work extended hours and weekends.
  • On-call rotation for emergency losses.
  • Willingness to work in fire, smoke, mold, water damage, and other hazardous environments.
  • Able to document files accordingly.
  • The ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds, to climb ladders and get into confined spaces.
  • Complete a comprehensible Estimate within 48 hours of starting project.

Qualifications :

  • Hard Working / Honest / Dependable / Trustworthy.
  • Active IICRC - WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT.
  • 4+ years as a Mitigation Project Manager or Water Tech in Water, Fire and Mold.
  • 4+ Years of estimating / documenting losses.
  • A professional appearance and great attitude.
  • Advance knowledge of the operation of drying and restoration equipment such as dehumidifiers, air movers, HEPA filter equipment, and other remediation equipment.
  • Can write scopes in Xactimate.
  • Knows how to use MICA.
  • Knows how to use DASH.
  • Can write scopes in Symbility.
  • Can Use Water Meters properly and effectively.

Compensation Package :

  • Base - $26.00 - $32.00 p / hour - D.O.E.
