In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of our Quality and Engineering systems, ensuring that they adhere to industry best practices and hygiene standards.
As the Quality Control Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in embedding quality into every aspect of our operations.
You will be responsible for developing, documenting, and maintaining our procedures, processes, and programs that drive our Quality and Engineering systems.
Additionally, you will be instrumental in identifying key performance indicators and establishing effective monitoring systems.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field is required for this position.
- 10+ years of experience in a cGMP environment
- Experience with manufacturing aseptic products and thermal processing
- Knowledge of system design and experience in developing sustainable programs
- Passion for project work and a desire to implement top-notch quality and engineering systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive process improvements
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma tools and certification as a Belt or Black Belt is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels
- Ensure Quality by Design from ideation through commercialization Oversee the development, deployment, and maintenance of Internal Prerequisite Programs and SSOPs Develop and implement Engineering systems for building and equipment management, including testing, validation, and obsolescence Participate in product and process design
- Drive Quality in Execution Enhance the accessibility and utilization of the Quality Monitoring Scheme (QMS) Serve as the primary contact for customer audits Develop and report on key performance indicators for the QA Department Manage shelf-life monitoring and extensions for raw materials and finished products Manage document control, Pest Control, Management of Change, and KPI reporting
