Searching for a Legal Assistant / Paralegal to join our Real Estate department. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently, ensuring that all matters are handled professionally and in a timely manner.
The Legal Assistant / Paralegal will support attorneys with various administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of their practices.
They will maintain attorney calendars, submit invoices and reimbursements, and communicate with clients and other parties.
They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate physical and digital files.
Additionally, the Legal Assistant / Paralegal will be responsible for drafting and reviewing critical documents such as purchase agreements, loan agreements, and promissory notes.
They will prepare and review closing statements, handle the preparation of closing checks and bank drafts for disbursement, and compile comprehensive closing packages.

Education and Experience :
- Bachelor’s degree (Required).
- Minimum of 2 years’ legal assistant or real estate experience (Required), in a law firm setting (Preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and PDF (Required). Experience using legal document management and accounting softwares (Preferred).
Physical Requirements :
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
