Position Purpose :
To maintain a well-organized office in accordance with policies and procedures. Will be responsible for the well-being and care of clients, visitors and interaction with family members in the center and for assisting the clinical staff with streamlining any clerical functions.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Work prescribed hours prescribed and be available to work additional hours when necessary.
- Greet clients and visitors, collect and post payments
- Complete opening demographics and paperwork with the client in the EHR
- Maintain scheduling logs including referral and intake schedules
- Answer and direct calls appropriately; making reminder and prescription calls
- Internal and external distribution of mail
- Conduct financial interviews with clients, update and register clients in database
- Review clinical date and communicate discrepancies with supervisors
- Maintain visitors log, prescription log and intake log
- Review doctor's appointment logs
- Close office per clinical protocol
- Assist office support tram as needed
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications / Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong customer service skills and customer service oriented
- Phone and / or switchboard experience
- General understanding of Mental Health
- Organization and multi-tasking abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently
- Must be able to work independently and with a team
- General knowledge of MS Office
- Keyboarding and ten-key experience, minimum 35 wpm typing
