Position Purpose :

To maintain a well-organized office in accordance with policies and procedures. Will be responsible for the well-being and care of clients, visitors and interaction with family members in the center and for assisting the clinical staff with streamlining any clerical functions.

Essential Responsibilities :

  • Work prescribed hours prescribed and be available to work additional hours when necessary.
  • Greet clients and visitors, collect and post payments
  • Complete opening demographics and paperwork with the client in the EHR
  • Maintain scheduling logs including referral and intake schedules
  • Answer and direct calls appropriately; making reminder and prescription calls
  • Internal and external distribution of mail
  • Conduct financial interviews with clients, update and register clients in database
  • Review clinical date and communicate discrepancies with supervisors
  • Maintain visitors log, prescription log and intake log
  • Review doctor's appointment logs
  • Close office per clinical protocol
  • Assist office support tram as needed
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications / Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong customer service skills and customer service oriented
  • Phone and / or switchboard experience
  • General understanding of Mental Health
  • Organization and multi-tasking abilities
  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently
  • Must be able to work independently and with a team
  • General knowledge of MS Office
  • Keyboarding and ten-key experience, minimum 35 wpm typing
