Head of Trading - Options
Our client, a leading hedge fund, is seeking a Head of Trading to lead their options trading desk. This position provides an exceptional opportunity to manage a diverse options portfolio while leveraging advanced technology and analytics.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee the execution and performance of trading strategies in the options market, focusing on maximising profitability and operational efficiency.
- Establish and maintain robust risk management protocols, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with technology and quantitative teams to enhance trading infrastructure and analytical capabilities.
- Mentor and lead a team of traders and quantitative researchers, providing strategic guidance and ensuring alignment with the firm’s objectives.
- Analyse market trends and performance metrics to inform strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements :
- Proven success in managing PnL within options trading environments.
- Extensive experience in a leadership role related to trading or quantitative analysis, with a strong focus on options strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of quantitative analysis, risk management, and market dynamics pertaining to options trading.
- A solid academic background, with a Master’s or PhD in quantitative fields such as Mathematics, Finance, or Engineering.
