ETHOS is seeking a dedicated Field Human Resources Manager to provide invaluable support to our vibrant veterinary hospitals across Southern California.

Veterinary Specialty Hospital , Sorrento Valley - home hospital Veterinary Specialty Hospital , North County Urgent Care , Rancho Penasquitos Urgent Care , Oceanside This position is in-person and onsite, requiring regular travel between hospitals.

Key Responsibilities : Empowerment and Support : Serve as the go-to HR resource for employees and managers, fostering an inclusive culture, and addressing workplace concerns promptly and effectively.

Strategic Collaboration : Partner with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to implement HR programs seamlessly, ensuring effective communication and anticipating challenges.

Employee Relations : Proactively manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, providing guidance, conducting investigations, and collaborating with HR Business Partners and legal counsel as needed.

Performance Enhancement : Coach leaders through performance concerns, facilitate performance reviews, and ensure fair and equitable treatment across all levels.

Compliance and Analytics : Maintain compliance with employment laws and regulations while leveraging data and analytics to drive meaningful insights and strategies.

Qualifications : Experience and Education : Minimum of 3-5 years in an HR / Generalist role required. California HR certification is strongly preferred.

Technical Proficiency : Proficient in MS Office applications and HRIS systems; Ceridian experience is advantageous. Proactive Problem Solver : Navigate ambiguity with ease, handling multiple tasks, and prioritizing effectively.

HR Expertise : Solid understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws, with a knack for navigating ambiguous situations.

Empathetic Leader : Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence, fostering trust and collaboration across all levels of the organization.

Compensation : $80,000 - $100,000 base compensation, with a variable bonus of up to 10% based on market performance.
