We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pricing and Market Analyst to join our dynamic team in the sheetmetal duct manufacturing industry.

As a Pricing and Market Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing market trends, evaluating pricing strategies, and providing data-driven insights to support the company's competitive positioning and profitability.

The ideal candidate will possess an interest in analysis, business acumen, and the ability to turn complex data into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities :

Pricing Strategy Development : Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective pricing strategies that align with business goals.

Analyze pricing models and recommend adjustments to optimize revenue and market share.

Pricing Analysis : Identify pricing patterns and recommend price adjustments for various product lines and market segments.

Rebate Program Management : Work with the Director of Sales to manage and maintain customer rebate programs with focus on rebate and claim-back calculations.

Communicate with the M&M / Snappy finance team providing accurate and timely accrual data each month.

Pricing Optimization : With direction from the Vice-President of Sales, continuously review and refine pricing strategies based on market changes, cost fluctuations, and customer feedback.

Implement dynamic pricing strategies and promotional pricing initiatives.

Data Management : Maintain and update pricing databases, market data repositories, and analytical tools. Ensure data accuracy and integrity while adhering to data protection and confidentiality policies.

Reporting and Presentations : Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate pricing analysis, market trends, and actionable recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.

Process Improvement : Identify areas for process optimization and automation within the pricing and market analysis functions.

Implement efficient workflows and leverage technology to enhance analytical capabilities.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Distribution, Finance, Statistics, or a related field. Experience with industrial distribution sales channels is a plus.

Proven experience as a Pricing Analyst, Market Analyst, or related role, preferably within the manufacturing or HVAC industry.

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis.

Excellent communication skills to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data analysis and reporting.

Strong business acumen and the ability to translate analysis into actionable business recommendations.
