KPS Global is looking for a Pricing Analyst for our corporate office based in Fort Worth, TX. The Pricing Analyst will drive the pricing strategy for KPS Global’s products and services.

The Pricing Analyst will create and manage processes and systems that enable and empower sales and operations to execute and manage price.

They will develop selling price analytical reports and enforcement of sales department price-related policies. The position reports to the Director of Customer Operations.

The Pricing Analyst requires excellent customer focus, high energy and enthusiasm, forward-thinking, strong relationship skills, excellent problem solving, solid execution, and commitment to meeting sales and profitability objectives.

They must demonstrate leadership and the ability to make decisions that are in the best interest of KPS Global and our customers.

This role is required to understand our business and the effects of customization and complexity on pricing.

Required Skills

  • Manage activities, processes and strategic plans of the company that support the strategic vision, marketing strategies, and financial objectives
  • Develop comprehensive pricing strategy and lead price reviews on large opportunities and cross-functional teams
  • Develop and define appropriate price guidelines and bid strategy
  • Establish and manage the approval process through regular reviews of price variance charts and metrics
  • Develop and manage an RFQ / quotation process that tracks the number of quote issues vs. new business obtained
  • Develop and manage a follow-up process for sales to track quotations
  • Identify, scope, and execute strategic price improvement projects
  • Develop an understanding of the various sales channels and market trends / drivers
  • Understand and manage appropriate market pricing that maximizes profitability
  • Analyze the competition and historical pricing information to determine the best price points for the business
  • Mine data, analyze, and interpret results using standard statistical tools and techniques. Provide insight on market analytics, pricing, and cost
  • Extract, transform, and load data from various databases, formats, and data sources. Use exploratory data analysis techniques to identify meaningful relationships, patterns, or trends from complex data sets
  • Provide management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products and services
  • Regularly inform and consult with top management regarding negotiating strategies for large or new business proposals
  • Serve as the central pricing approval authority for KPS Global. Manage and administer pricing sales policies
  • Provide guidance for Regional Sales Managers on pricing

Required Experience

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of pricing analysis, data science, financial modeling, business analytics, business intelligence, or related work experience within a B2B environment
  • Minimum 4-year undergraduate degree (Finance, Business, Marketing, or related field)
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical / financial traits
  • Experience in Business Intelligence reporting
  • Strong IT / Computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Access. Knowledge of PowerBI a plus.

  • Must have a proven ability to create and modify Excel and Visio-based documents
  • Must be willing to challenge discount requests submitted by representative and non-US-based market units and distributors
  • Must be willing to reorganize work to accommodate projects with very short deadlines
