Kuakini Medical Center Description of Position
Supervises the clinic operations forthe assigned research project(s) including the supervision of the clinic staff,research participant recruiters, and clerical support staff for the researchproject(s).
Trains and certifies the clinic examiners for the clinicoperations. Monitors the quality and completion of the work performed inthe clinic.
Verifies the clinic examination data entered into the projectdatabase. Coordinates the start-up of the new research project(s) andimplements the necessary follow-up steps.
Performs project specificcoordination duties such as assisting in identifying any issues impacting thefacilities and IT requirements for the assigned research project(s).
Coordinates the scheduling of meetings and telephone conference calls for theinvestigators and research staff with the external investigators andcollaborators, and assists in the coordination of communications relating tothe investigators.
Assists with the preparation of the grant progressreports. Assists with the preparation of Institutional Review Board (IRB)applications and renewals.
Performs other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
Baccalaureatedegree from an accredited four (4) year college / university required; variousmajors may be considered if background and qualifications are applicable toperforming job duties.
Minimum of four (4) years of supervisoryexperience in a clinical setting; or any combination of education andexperience which would provide the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities tomeet the minimum qualifications to perform the essential functions of thisposition.
Starting Salary $76,110
