Position : Sales Development Representative
Department : Sales
Direct Report To : Regional Key Account Manager
Location : Bellefontaine, OH for the first 6 months, then relocate back to Texas
PowerBuilt is a turn-key material handling systems integrator, with an emphasis on lift assist, conveyor, automation, and pre-engineered equipment.
PowerBuilt’s clients include many of the largest automotive, appliance, aerospace, and heavy truck / bus manufacturers within the United States / Canada / Mexico.
Our growing sales team is seeking a qualified Sales Development Representative to support current Account Managers in identifying potential customers, generating new business opportunities, and managing leads through the sales pipeline.
This position will work closely with the Account Manager team to ensure that company sales goals are met.
Responsibilities
- Identify potential customers and generate new business opportunities for the company
- Contact and qualify potential customers
- Set appointments and follow up on leads
- Coordinate customer meetings with Account Managers
- Track progress towards meeting sales goals
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for reaching sales targets
- Use customer relationship management (CRM) software to manage leads and sales activities
- Stay up to date on market trends, competition, and industry developments
- Provide regular reports on sales activities and results to management.

Qualifications
- Bachelors or Associates Degree
- Previous account management experience (preferred, but not required)
- Ability to succeed in a client facing role
- Willingness and ability to travel
