Position : Bartender
Job Description :
The Beverage Outlet Bartender will serve beverages and / or food to the guests in a friendly, courteous and timely manner.
They prepare beverages for other servers to supply to guests, and act as cashier for the lounge
Required Skills and Requisites :
- Ability to obtain any government required license or certificate.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages. Liquor certification if required by the state or local government.
- Service orientation. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
- High School Diploma required.
- Bartending experience required.
Responsibilities and Duties :
- Maintains proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis.
- Responsible for maintaining stock, preparing and storing of all garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality.
- Greets guests in courteous and friendly manner.
- Promotes and documents orders for drinks.
- Inputs orders into a register at the point of sale and creates a check for each guest, including those served by other beverage servers.
- Processes all payments for beverage purchases and ensures accuracy of said payments in order to balance all monies.
- Locks up and stores all beverage, food, and other equipment items.
- Deposits cash drops and secures bank.
- Performs general cleaning tasks to adhere to Health Department regulations.
- Must be aware of and adhere to all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
