This is an ONSITE Role in Mason, OH when not traveling (20% travel required) - Relocation will be offered for a move as well

SUMMARY :

The Director of Sales leads all Key Account and International Distributor sales efforts for all brands. This encompasses small and large Key Accounts and International Distributors.

Thoughtful management of the internal Key Account Team (KAT) is essential while being the bridge of communication between all.

Upward growth within the company is available to the ideal candidate. Candidates who understand our brand identity, appreciate greeting cards and books, and are interested in the gift industry will be highly regarded.

A love for data is a must! The candidate will develop and own the annual Sales forecast and results for Key Account and International Sales.

Execution of managing monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales, operating expenses, and profit goals, as well as reporting on progress against those goals, is required.

Significant Key Account experience and the ability to mentor and direct internal Key Account team associates while communicating well with operations support associates will be essential qualities considered.

This will ensure all Key Account sales are processed and shipped correctly, seasonal orders are secured promptly, and Plan-o-Grams are optimized.

Organized industry-leading management of existing and new Key Account relationships is crucial while fostering regular communications at clients’ offices or trade shows.

Clear communication and coordination with the Director of Operations and Procurement is critical to supply sales information needed for that position to manage inventory and planning and usage of warehouse operations.

Requirements :

  • 5+ years of sales experience in an executive-level position such as Director of Sales, Sales Manager, or similar role.
  • Passionate about the greeting card or gift industry and being a part of an established, growing, dynamic greeting card company.
  • Manage all sales for all company brands and issue monthly reports tracking sales by account against forecast and identifying opportunities for growth for Key Accounts, as well as International sales.
  • Develop a strategic plan to prospect for new business based on sales activity, market trends, and product development.
  • Manage all Key Sales functions, including hiring, right-sizing, reporting, training, personnel management, and warehouse function usage.
  • Develop, manage, and communicate a business plan for each Key Account with buyers and the Key Account Team.
  • Manage International Key Account and Distributor sales agreements & price lists. Review accounts annually and renew them accordingly.
  • Excellent fluency in Excel and ability to prepare presentations as needed.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to speak to financial statements, analyze data, draw insights, and develop reports, recaps, and recommendations.
  • Manage all sales for all company brands. Develop and issue monthly reports tracking sales by account, against forecast and identifying opportunities for growth and applications for other accounts.
  • Utilize Asana and project management skills to simultaneously direct the National Specialty Sales Manager, Key Account team, and Customer Service department to bridge communications, keeping workflow smooth and on schedule.
