NC DHHS is looking fora certified and experienced HB Billing Analyst to work on the EpicEHRimplementation.

Responsibilities :

  • Analyzesdocuments and communicates business requirements for new systemfunctionality and enhancements to existingfunctionality.
  • Test system changesto ensure that they meet business requirements and do not adverselyimpact other areas of the Epicsystem.
  • Acts as the primarysupport contact for the applicationsendusers.
  • Identifies issuesthat arise in their application areas and issues that impact otherapplication teams and works to resolvethem
  • Guides workflowdesign builds tests the system and analyzes other technical issuesassociated with Epicsoftware
  • Identifies implementscompletes integrated testing and communicates requested changes tothe Epic system
  • Works with Epicrepresentatives and end users to ensure the system meets theorganizations business needs regarding the project deliverables andtimeline
  • Performs indepthanalysis of current and future workflows data collection reportdetails and other technical issues associated with the Epic EHR anddesignated thirdpartyapplications
  • Partners with qualityoperational and business leaders on system design and optimizationto meet quality safety financial and efficiencyneeds
  • Collects requirementsregarding potential system enhancements or new systemimplementation and prepares details of specifications needed;

prioritizes and implements requested changes to thesystem.

  • Investigatesstandardization and process improvement opportunities by roundingwithin revenue cycle areas while making builddecisions.
  • Validates that datais accurate and meets businessrequirements.
  • Completes integratedtesting to test system changes in all Epic environments to ensurethat they meet business requirements and do not adversely impactother areas of thesystem.
  • Troubleshoots andidentifies root causes and documents problems of simple to mediumcomplexity for assigned applications andsystems.
  • Maintains dataintegrity and security for assigned applications andsystems.
  • Develops systemdocumentation as assigned perstandards.
  • Developscommunicationrelated education efforts for deployments upgradesoptimizations and other system changes asassigned.
  • Stays current on Epicapplication releases and participates in upgrade planning andtesting.
  • Participates inperformance improvement activities to measure assess and improvethe quality of assigned workarea
