We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator for a full-time position working in the South Orange, NJ area. This is a non-profit, program-based position with a Monday-Friday schedule.
Some weekend / evening hours may be required on occasion. Ideal candidates will have experience in a support coordinator position as well as experience working with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
This is a permeant placement position with a salary and full-benefits package.
Qualifications :
- College degree in related area or 3 years of experience with an I / DD service agency
- 3 years of experience in field of I / DD / developmental disabilities
- 3 years of experience working with the office of the NJ Division of Developmental Disabilities
- Valid New Jersey drivers license
- Must hold CPR / First Aid Valid Certification
- Successful clearance of NJ background check
- Successful clearance of Drug Screening
- Knowledge of compliance enforcement
Responsibilities :
- Assist in the oversight of staff compliance to state regulations and agency policy and procedures
- Assisti in the investigation of complaints / grievances and tracking and filing of internal incidents / Unusual Incident Reports (UIRs) as required
- Assist the Senior Manager in maintaining a Quality Management System (QMS) that ensures the implementation of best practices and customer satisfaction
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives to establish a high level of service delivery which incorporates current trends regarding programming.
- Act as a liaison between the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) and organization
- Assist with the process of accreditation standards relevant to Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and state certifications.
- Learning and assisting in the day-to-day functions of the EHR system
