The Director North America Supply Chain and Logistics will be responsible for all end-to-end supply chain activities to support production across all North American manufacturing sites.

This will include coordination and leadership of the Purchasing, Procurement, Planning and Distribution teams. A thorough working knowledge of procurement, planning, inventory management, forecasting, and project planning is required.

Experience with advanced supply chain concepts in a regulated environment is key. The skills mentioned must be carried out in a timely manner, with some degree of autonomy, and minimal direction or intervention.

• 10 years experience in Supply Chain Management
• Proven track record of success in complex manufacturing environment
• In depth knowledge of ERP systems and software
• Demonstrated multi-site responsibility is a plus
• Lean / Kaizen experience

Job Requirements

• Develop and implement Supply Chain policies and procedures that are in line with our companymission and that help us meet our KPIs and service levels to the customer.
• Ensures the necessary resources, systems and tools are available for accurate production anddemand fulfillment within the North American Supply Chain.
• Ensures that Supply Chain performance metrics are developed and utilized to make dailymanagement decisions. Be a change agent to drive continuous improvement across metrics.
• Develop and implement corporate strategic purchasing program to help improve material costsand availability across all sites.
• Develop personnel and delegate responsibilities as necessary to grow organizational benchstrength.
• Assess and implement new technologies when appropriate to increase efficiency and accuracyof the North American supply chain.
• Actively participate in regular meetings and collaboration efforts with the North American,French, German and Romanian teams regarding supply chain elements such as Sales &Operations Planning, stocking levels, watch-outs and key needs for products.

Manage the Sales &Operations Planning process for the North American sites.

Responsible for inventory levels and ensures stocking levels are adequate to satisfy operationalneeds and working capital goals.

Also ensure that action plans are implemented to address anypotential issues.

Identifies and implements strategies to improve quality of service, productivity and profitability.This includes but is not limited to budget compliance, reduction in OPEX and improvement onCAPEX items.

Change oriented work on common expenses and ways to reduce waste in theorganization.

• Evaluate and manage the performance of staff including regular coaching sessions, performancereviews and annual objectives.
• Reports and communicates regularly on topics for supply chain, KPIs, and other group metrics.
• All other duties as assigned.
