The Job You Will Perform :

Reports and works with a regional manager and assigned team lead, to p rovide technical support of client infrastructure and software for the Cedar River mill and (3) three other sites in Iowa including Des Moines Recycling, Waterloo Container and Cedar Rapids Container .

This role will work with facility manager or site contact to set priorities.

• Travel to the sites is necessary as needed for support and project work. Up to 20% travel required to support locations.
• S upport approximately 300 PC’s and laptops along with approximately 200 other devices including VMU’s, network devices and printers.
• Manage day to day break / fix of workstations, servers, RF devices, printers and other network attached devices.
• Perform assigned project tasks or set of actions for completion of project with in defined timelines.
• Includes but not limited to installation, configuration, and / or moves of supported standard devices or implementation of a process.
• Perform assigned tasks for installation and configuration of standard devices as part of the refresh lifecycle management programs for Workstations, Printers, RF, Servers and Network Switches and Access Points .
• Requires general to little direct supervision and capable of handling any routine to highly technical problem with demonstrated adequate to good communication skills.
• Maintain documentation for the facility, including inventory, ticket tracking, and time tracking.
• A ct as the liaison with Information Technology second and third level support groups to assist in expediting the support process.
• Daily on-call for the primary location of Cedar River Mill. Rotation of on-call support for the region up to 4 weeks per year.
