The Evolver Federal Cybersecurity practice employs 100+ staff with revenue of more than $35 million dollars across 10 Federal Programs. This includes 4 Security Operations Centers, Penetration Testing, Security Program Management, Threat Intelligence, Security Engineering and Risk Management Framework Support (ISSO, Assessments, Code Review, Audit Support, NIST and FISMA Reporting).

We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Cyber Security to lead and expand our cybersecurity operations within federal government programs. This dual role position is responsible for managing existing cybersecurity operations (50%) while actively driving business development efforts to grow the practice (50%). The successful candidate will possess both technical and strategic expertise to oversee multiple federal cybersecurity programs, drive operational efficiency, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and cultivate client relationships that fuel practice expansion.

Responsibilities : Operations (50%)

• Program Management : Oversee and manage cybersecurity operations across multiple federal government programs, ensuring contract deliverables, project goals, and compliance requirements are met.
• Operational Leadership : Lead cybersecurity teams in providing continuous monitoring, incident response, risk assessment, vulnerability management, and remediation activities, ensuring high operational standards.
• Policy & Compliance : Maintain alignment with federal cybersecurity policies, frameworks (NIST, FISMA, etc.), and agency-specific security mandates. Ensure all operations comply with federal standards and best practices.
• Resource Optimization : Optimize the allocation of resources to deliver high-quality services while managing cost and efficiency across programs.
• Technology Integration : Evaluate and implement cutting-edge cybersecurity tools, processes, and automation to enhance security posture and operational efficiency.
