Clayton Services is searching for a Senior Accountant to join a thriving company in North Houston.
Job Type : Direct Hire
Pay Rate : $65,000-$75,000 / year

Senior Accountant Responsibilities :
Assist with accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing and posting cash receipts
Communicate with inside sales regarding customer requests
Work with credit card payment collection system
Assist in all financial audit requirements from banks and outside CPA firm
Create monthly required journal entries and adjust entries when necessary
Assist the accounting department with ad hoc projects.
Produce weekly bank reconciliations
Correspond with internal and external parties to resolve matters effectively.
Generate monthly sales tax reports and make payments via the State website
Process all vendor invoices in a timely manner, weekly check runs and wires, and positive pay management.
Complete Monthly reporting requirements for AR / AP & inventory.
Set up new business partners.
Assist in monthly close.

Computer proficiency
Microsoft Office proficiency - advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
ERP system proficiency
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
Senior Accountant Education and Experience :
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting and / or finance
A minimum of 5-7 years of full-cycle accounting experience
Experience working with QuickBooks is a plus
