FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN

OVERVIEW :
QPTG has been engaged to identify an experienced and highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our client’s growing team. This individual will play a key role in supporting customers across the U.S. by delivering expert-level service, repair, and commissioning of advanced Non-Ferrous Metal and Woodworking Machinery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Install, commission, and test new or rebuilt equipment at customer sites
- Train machine operators and maintenance personnel on proper equipment use and care
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and calibration of a wide range of field machinery
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software-related equipment issues
- Recommend and implement preventative maintenance programs
- Complete detailed field service reports, including time, work performed, and any recommendations
- Provide exceptional customer service while addressing technical inquiries and concerns on-site
QUALIFICATIONS :
5+ years of hands-on experience installing and maintaining specialized industrial machineryProficiency with :CNC Machining Centers (flat table, pod & rail, bore & insert)
