The programmer will be responsible for all CNC Programs for Lathe & Mills using Mastercam software.
Responsibilities :
- Create new programs utilizing Mastercam cad / cam software to successfully machine parts within part print tolerances
- Create set up sheets and tool lists
- Work with machinists during test run of programs to insure process is capable
- Participate in the design of tooling using Solid Works
- Modify post processors
- Manually edit existing programs as needed
- Inspect parts using various quality inspection tools
- Understand, maintain and execute Donaldson Quality Policies and Procedures.
- Complies with all DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures.
- Uses all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required
Qualifications :
- Education consisting of a high school diploma / GED and a minimum of four (4) or five (5) years of related experience in lieu of education.
- Programming experience using Mastercam.
- Perform a variety of tasks safely throughout the day in a fast paced work environment.
- Interact constructively and effectively with all plant employees.
- Ability to work in a team environment toward a common goal.
- Reacts to change productively and to handle other tasks as assigned.
- Maintains a pattern of regular and predictable attendance.
